Mill Street
Mill Street Brewery came to us to create a flagship IPA that could hold its own in a seriously crowded beer aisle and connect with millennials in a way that felt real. We leaned into nostalgia and built a bold, retro-inspired design system using bright, punchy colours and graphics reminiscent of our favourite 80s and 90s video games. Think pixel vibes, arcade energy, maybe even a subtle nod to the days of blowing into a cartridge and hoping Super Mario Bros. would finally load. The result is playful, full of good fees (and taste!), and impossible to miss on shelf.
ADCC “No Sh*t” Annual
For the 69th ADCC Awards, we wanted to shake things up. The ADCC has been championing Canadian creativity since 1949, and this year called for something bold. “The No Shit Awards Show” was our unapologetic rally cry. A celebration of work that cuts through, stands tall, and doesn’t play it safe.
We developed a custom typeface packed with personality and rolled it out across every touchpoint, building a campaign that felt fearless and unmistakable.
Chapter One
The Chapter One Project was born from a simple, slightly painful truth. Most copywriters have an unfinished novel tucked away somewhere. In partnership with Grey Canada and Miami Ad School, the idea was to collect those first chapters and publish a “novel of unfinished novels,” with proceeds supporting a scholarship fund.
As Design Director, this book became an exercise in restraint. A clean, meticulously typeset and Swiss-inspired design gave every story room to shine.
